NC Ready to Send PM Candidate to Tundikhel for Debate: Vice President Sharma

Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwo Prakash Sharma has said the party is prepared to send its prime ministerial candidate to Tundikhel for a public debate. He made the statement while addressing a program held in Mid-Baneshwor on Tuesday.

Sharma said the party’s proposed prime ministerial candidate, party president Gagan Thapa, has the experience, energy, and maturity required to lead the country. He added that Thapa also possesses patience, discipline, and a clear vision for national development.

Emphasizing leadership standards, Sharma said candidates should be evaluated not only for the post of prime minister but even for local leadership roles based on their background, values, competence, contribution, and vision. He stated that the party is fully ready to present its candidate for open debate with other contenders.

Sharma also claimed that the Nepali Congress has fielded candidates in all 165 constituencies across the country, expressing confidence in the party’s nationwide presence and electoral strength.
