Ambassadors of Five Countries Present Letters of Credence to President Paudel

Ambassadors from five different countries presented their letters of credence to President Ram Chandra Paudel on Thursday, officially beginning their diplomatic assignments in Nepal.
The ceremony was held at the President’s official residence, Sheetal Niwas, in Kathmandu. According to the Office of the President, ambassadors from Australia, Saudi Arabia, China, Maldives, and Türkiye submitted their credentials to the Head of State.
Presidential spokesperson Ritesh Kumar Shakya stated that the ambassadors formally handed over their letters during a traditional ceremony, marking the commencement of their official diplomatic roles in Nepal.
The presentation of letters of credence is a key diplomatic protocol that strengthens bilateral relations and cooperation between Nepal and the respective countries.
