“Hamra Sanrachana Hami Afnai Banaun”
The government will launch the “Our Structures, We Rebuild” campaign to fix buildings damaged in the Gen Z protests. Minister Kulman Ghising inspected Singha Durbar and said repairs and vehicle clearance will start soon with support from Nepalis at home and abroad.

The government has announced a new campaign called “Hamra Sanrachana Hami Afnai Banaun” to repair and rebuild the buildings damaged during the recent Gen-Z protests. The initiative will gather support not only from the government but also from Nepalis living at home and abroad.
On Tuesday, Minister for Energy, Water Resources, Irrigation, Physical Planning, Transport, and Urban Development, Kulman Ghising, visited Singha Durbar’s main building and the Home Ministry to inspect the damage. He said that the Urban Development Ministry has already formed a task force to assess the condition of the structures and start necessary work.
Minister Ghising emphasized that damaged government offices should not be left looking abandoned. He suggested repainting outer walls, managing burnt vehicles scattered across Singha Durbar, and starting immediate cleanup to give the message that “we are rising again.”
He further stated that reconstruction will begin through the new campaign, supported by contributions from Nepalis worldwide. According to him, such efforts will help restore public confidence and show that despite destruction, Nepal is ready to rebuild stronger.
