The High Cost of Conflict: US-Israeli Attack on Iran

The US attack on Iran has made the tragedy of war worse, harming many innocent civilians and causing huge damage. What started at Iran’s border is already spreading across West Asia, affecting countries far from the battlefield.

When powerful nations get involved, fights for democracy often become more complicated and last longer. Real change and lasting peace can only come from the people of the country, supported by the international community through peaceful means not through foreign attacks.

History shows that military attacks rarely bring quick peace. In Afghanistan, the US removed the Taliban in 2001, but after twenty years and the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives, the Taliban returned. Wars in Vietnam, Iraq and elsewhere also show that attacks often fail to bring pride or stability.

Even if the US and Israel claim that this strike supports pro democracy Iranians, reports show that schools, public buildings, and ordinary streets were hit. The Iranian government says at least 82 girls were killed in an attack on a school dormitory in Minav. Tens of thousands of people in Tehran are now fleeing their homes, unsure if they will ever return safely.

The war has already reached UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, raising tensions across the region. Such conflicts make ordinary people the biggest victims. Military action also weakens the role of the United Nations and undermines diplomacy.

Democracy cannot be forced from outside. Peaceful cooperation, dialogue, and local efforts are the only ways to protect human lives and build democracy. War destroys lives and values it can never replace democratic change. The world must work together to stop the fighting and support both peace and human rights
