Another 37 Nepalis Deported from America
The US will deport 37 Nepali citizens this week, raising the total deportations in 2025 to 252. Most had entered through risky routes by paying human traffickers. They will be sent back via a chartered Omni Air flight under US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This week, 37 Nepali citizens are being deported from the United States. With this, the total number of Nepalis deported from the US in 2025 will reach 252.
According to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the deportees will be sent back on a chartered Omni Air flight arranged specifically for such cases.
Reports show that most of the deported Nepalis had paid huge amounts to human traffickers to enter the US through unsafe and illegal routes. Many had hoped for better opportunities but ended up facing deportation.
The deportations are being carried out under strict immigration policies enforced during President Donald Trump’s second term. Nepalis who entered the US after June 2015 and are under removal orders have been placed on the priority list for deportation.
