Kathmandu Police Seize 6 Fake Pistols from Civil Mall, Arrest Suspect
Kathmandu – Police in Kathmandu have seized six fake pistols from Civil Mall and arrested a suspect involved in importing and selling the imitation weapons. According to authorities, the suspect purchased the fake firearms at Rs 501 each and sold them for prices ranging from Rs 14,000 to Rs 19,000, earning substantial profit through illegal trade. Officials said the suspect had been distributing the fake pistols to buyers in and around Kathmandu, raising concerns about public safety and the potential misuse of the weapons. Police have initiated further investigation to identify other individuals involved in the illegal business and to track the source of the imported fake firearms. Authorities have urged the public to report any suspicious sales or possession of imitation weapons to help prevent criminal activities and ensure community safety.
