Heavy Rain Alert in Some Areas Today
Nepal will see mostly cloudy skies on Tuesday, with moderate rainfall in many provinces and heavy rain likely in parts of Koshi. People are advised to stay alert in flood- and landslide-prone areas.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that Nepal will have cloudy weather on Tuesday. Many areas in different provinces may get moderate rainfall, while Koshi Province could see heavy rain in one or two places.
Tonight, the weather is also expected to stay mostly cloudy. Moderate rainfall is likely in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces. Other provinces may also get light to moderate rain in some areas.
In the past 24 hours, several places received notable rainfall. Manekharka in Sindhupalchok recorded 88.8 mm, Phaleni in Lamjung 61.6 mm, Dadeldhura 74.6 mm, Sahukhark 78.2 mm, and Gaira in Doti 60.8 mm.
Authorities have asked people to remain cautious, especially in areas where there is a risk of flooding and landslides.
