Akhlil (Revolutionary) Stages Rally Against Lipulek Trade Agreement
Activists organized a Rāke rally at Lipulek, protesting the recent India-China trade agreement. Demonstrators claimed the deal threatens Nepal’s sovereignty and called on the government to reconsider it.

Kathmandu – The Akhlil (Revolutionary) group, along with the Baneshwor Multipurpose Campus Committee, organized a Rāke rally at Lipulek to protest the recent bilateral trade agreement between India and China.
Protesters argued that turning Nepal’s Lipulek territory into a trade point violates national sovereignty and undermines territorial integrity. Demonstrators marched through major streets, raising slogans against the deal.
The rally was closely monitored by police to ensure public order and safety. Security personnel were deployed along the protest route to manage crowds and prevent any disruptions.
This demonstration reflects growing concerns among activist groups about foreign agreements impacting Nepalese land and sovereignty. Organizers emphasized the need for the government to carefully reconsider such deals before implementation.
