Transport Data Center stops new license applications
License-related services remain closed after recurring problems at the Transport Management Department
On 28 Kartik, Kathmandu — The data center at the Transport Management Department has encountered problems again. The result has been that the system for applying for new driving licences, which had partially reopened from 16 Kartik, has been closed again.
It said that from today onwards, the system for electronic driving licences and new license applications will be closed until further notice.
All license-related services were already disrupted due to heavy damage caused by protests on 23 and 24 Bhadra. The data center, which had been running partially since 16 Kattik, has become blocked again because of new issues, according to the department.
