NEPSE gains 1.13 points as six companies see a 10% rise in share prices, while trading volume drops to NRs 3.49 billion.

Stock market witnesses a 10% increase in the share prices of six companies.

Kathmandu, November 13 — The share market added 1.13 points on the last trading day of the week, with the NEPSE index closing at 2,545 points. During the day, the index dropped to a low of 2,530 points at 12:31 PM and the day's high was 2,559 points at 2:06 PM. Despite this modest rise in the general index, the share price of six companies went up by 10%, including Mabilung Energy, Swetganga Hydropower, Sagar Distillery, Bunglal Hydropower, Bandipur Cable Car, and Ruru Hydropower Project. Similarly, out of the companies listed in the exchange, 123 saw their prices rise,124 declined, and 8 remained unchanged.

Trading volume decreased to NRs 3.49 billion from  NRs 3.84 billion on the day prior. Sector-wise, Banking (0.12%), Finance (0.09%), Hotel & Tourism (0.72%), Hydropower (0.22%), and Trade (0.79%) posted gains; meanwhile, losses were recorded in Others (0.24%), Non-life Insurance (0.46%), Manufacturing & Processing (0.29%), Life Insurance (0.23%),Investment (0.07%), and Development Banks (0.08%).

Among individual stocks, Darakhola Hydro Energy (+6.88%) , Bhugol Energy (+4.99%), and Dolti Power (+4.20%) were some of the top gainers whereas Nepal Micro Insurance was down the most with a loss of 4.82%, followed by Eastern Hydropower (-3.70%), Best Finance (-3.18%), and Super Madi (-2.50%). Today's top turnover stocks were **Himalayan Power Partner, Himalayan Distillery, Union Hydropower, NRN Infrastructure, and Sahas Urja.
